Vikings rebound in a big way

GLENDALE - The Barstow Vikings earned a 7-1 win over San Bernadino Valley on Saturday at the Glendale Invitational.

Melissa Galindo pitched a three hitter and did not allow an earned run on the mound. She struck out seven and walked one.

"Melissa hit her spots and worked in her change up effectively," said coach Tim Syrek. 

Alora Donovan had three hits and scored two runs to pace the offense. She had two doubles.

Cheyenne Porcella added two hits and two RBI, while had Annemarie Hernandez homered and had three RBI.

"We played a much better game all the way around," Syrek added. "We put a full game together."
