Baseball Players Signing Letters of Intent

Barstow Community College announces first group of Sophomore signings with more expected in the next couple of weeks.  1st Baseman Easton Withers from Salt Lake City has committed to University of Antelope Valley.  Withers who is a tremendous student and recently graduated from BCC with an Associate's Degree hit 307 this past season with 22 RBI's and 4 HR's.  Pitcher Kenneth Proctor is completing his Associate's Degree this summer and will be transferring on scholarship to Presentation College is South Dakota.  Barstow High School Alumni Christopher Ekenbarger made 17 solid relief appearances for the Vikings this past season and as a result has accepted his scholarship offer to Concordia University at Ann Arbor in Michigan.  Ekenbarger also graduated with an Associates' Degree this year from Barstow Community College.  Sophomore Carter Blouin has elected not to play baseball this coming season, however we are very proud to announce that Carter has been accepted and will be attending the University of Arizona this fall.
